LEAD II - Vortex2 Field Experiment Viewer

Updated June 15, 2010: Vortex2 is now over. In support of the campaign, LEAD II successfully executed 214 workflows, used 21,500 CPU hours, generated over 400 GB of data and over 9100 2D products. Vortex2 is the largest and most ambitious effort to date to understand the behavior of tornadoes. LEAD II produced 5 short-term, highly accurate weather forecasts a day and make the results instantly available to researchers in the field below and using mobile phones. Mobile Weather Data Viewer.
