Next DSI meeting planned for Spring 2008

DSI NSF I/UCRC Planning Meeting; March 8-9, 2007 -- Bloomington, IN; meeting agenda

The one and a half day Planning Meeting was held at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Registration was free. Participants stayed at the Indiana Memorial Union (IMU) Hotel, conveniently located on campus. The Indiana Memorial Union is a sprawling historic limestone complex with a hotel and conference facilities.

Travel to Bloomington: Fly into Indianapolis International Airport. Bloomington is located 50 miles southwest of the airport. To get down to Bloomington, one can 1.) take a limo, 2.) rent a car, or 3.) take a shuttle. Bloomington has limo services that provide on demand, shared-person rides to and from Bloomington. It is about $36/one-way, and they will drop you at the door of the Union hotel and pick you up from there. The shuttle is the cheapest, but runs on a strict 2-hr cycle.
